Data Sharing Policy

Data Sharing Policy

Where appropriate, JACEDB strongly encourages authors to make their research data available to promote transparency, reproducibility, and the advancement of scientific knowledge. Data sharing facilitates verification of findings and strengthens the linkage between published articles and the underlying evidence.

For the purposes of this policy, research data refers to the results of observations or experiments that substantiate the conclusions of a study. This may include, but is not limited to, raw and processed datasets, software, algorithms, study protocols, analytical models, methodological details, and other materials essential for interpreting or replicating the research.

Authors who deposit their data in a recognized public repository are encouraged to provide a direct link to the dataset within the manuscript, thereby ensuring accessibility and traceability.

As a mandatory requirement, all manuscripts must contain a Data Sharing Statement clearly describing the availability of the underlying data.

Example of a Data Availability Statement:
“The data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.”
