About the Journal
Aim and Scope
National University Journal of Science (NUJSc) is an official refereed publication of National University published half-yearly. It is an English language journal that publishes peer-reviewed research articles in the fields of physics, astronomy, mathematics, computer science, statistics, chemistry, biosciences, earth sciences, life and environmental sciences based on scientific originality and interdisciplinary interest. It is devoted primarily to research papers but short communications, reviews, and book reviews are also included. The editorial board is composed of prominent scientists who are representative of the disciplines covered by the journal.
Review Process
This journal operates a double-blind review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The editor is responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles. The editor's decision is final.
Publication Frequency
National University Journal of Science (NUJSc) is published twice in a year (June and December) two issues (one volume) each year.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Article Processing Fees
Our journal is free to everyone. Full text of all the contents is always available. There is no article processing charges (APCs) or submission charges. Our readers can copy, distribute, and use their attributed research for non-commercial purpose free of charge. Our journal retains copyright of the articles through a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial- 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0).
Source of Support
Faculty of Science of National University, Gazipur bears all the costs of publication of the journal. Editors work voluntarily without any payment or salary.
