About the Journal

Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology (IJARIT) (eISSN: 2224-0616) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing theoretical and applied knowledge across the agricultural sciences. IJARIT serves as an international platform for researchers, academicians, extension specialists, and policymakers. The journal publishes original research articles, critical reviews, short communications, and case studies that offer innovative solutions to modern agricultural challenges, climate resilience, and global food security.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published biannually (June and December).

Open Access Policy

All articles published in the International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology are fully open access: immediately available to read, download, and share without restriction. The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Peer Review Policy

The IJARIT Open Access journal maintains the highest standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process. All research articles published in IJARIT undergo full peer review, the key characteristics of which are listed below:

  • Upon submission to the journal, every manuscript undergoes an initial screening process by the Executive Editor. Manuscripts that meet the journal's author guidelines and fall within IJARIT's purview then undergo the review process.
  • IJARIT uses a double-blind review process in which the reviewer and authors are anonymous to one another.
  • At least two suitably qualified experts review all research and review articles.
  • On the basis of the reviewers' comments, the Chief Editor of the journal makes the decisions.
  • Members of the International Editorial Board lend insight, advice, and guidance to the Chief Editor and assist in decision-making on specific submissions.
  • The Executive Editor provides the administrative support to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors.

Article Withdrawal Policy

Manuscripts may be withdrawn within 7 days of submission. Once a manuscript is published, it cannot be taken back. Articles will only be taken down, retracted, or removed if there are any legal disputes or copyright violations that go against professional ethics, such as multiple submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, or similar issues.

Publication Fee

IJARIT Research Foundation is a self-supporting organization and does not receive funding from any institution or government. Authors are required to pay a fair manuscript handling fee for the processing of their articles. However, there are no submission charges. Authors are required to make payment only after their manuscripts have been accepted for publication. After acceptance, authors must pay BDT 5000/= (for Bangladeshi authors) or USD 100$ (for non-Bangladeshi authors) as article processing charges (APC) for editing, online publishing, archiving, and evaluation of the article through the online banking system or Western Union Money Transfer.

Waiver Policy

The IJARIT journal is fully open access and requires article processing charges (APCs) to be paid following acceptance. To help support researchers who are unable to meet some or all of the costs associated with publishing open access, the IJARIT Research Foundation operates a transparent waiver policy, ensuring researchers from low-income countries can easily understand what automatic support for article processing charges is available to them. However, qualified authors from low-income countries, as described at https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org, may be considered for waivers.

Plagiarism Policy

The editorial office of the International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology (IJARIT) performs a preliminary plagiarism check through plagiarism checker software on each manuscript when it is submitted. Authors should aim for zero plagiarism in original papers. However, many indexed journals allow up to 15% similarity. Therefore, IJARIT allows plagiarism levels below 15%.

Copyright Policy

The International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology publishes all of its articles under open access, which entails unrestricted online access for everyone. In addition, the authors retain unrestricted copyright and all publishing rights to their article(s) and grant any third party the right to use, reproduce, and disseminate the article(s). IJARIT publishes open access articles under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Self-Archiving Policy

IJARIT's self-archiving policy supports open access to scientific research and information sharing by ensuring no paywalls or other access restrictions on the study and enabling researchers to disseminate their findings more widely. IJARIT permits authors to deposit all versions of the published articles in an institutional or subject repository. This policy gives authors the freedom to store their academic work in their institutional repositories or on non-profit, subject-based preprint servers. Authors are granted the privilege of self-archiving their work for non-commercial purposes.

Archiving Policy

IJARIT Journal is committed to the long-term preservation of its content. All articles published by the journal are preserved by the Internet Archive, Keepers Registry & LOCKSS
