Author Biography

Md Rakibul Hasan, Graduate Research Assistant (Biomedical Research Lab) and PhD Student in Health Promotion and Behavioural Sciences, University of Louisville, United States

I am a dedicated medical professional with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a Master’s in Public Health from Anglia Ruskin University, UK. My career has afforded me diverse roles, including significant positions at Mirpur General Hospital in Dhaka and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In addition, I have contributed to academia as a teaching assistant in the UK.

With a strong background in public health research, I possess skills in primary research, systematic reviews, content analysis, case studies, and thematic analysis. My work spans various public health challenges, particularly mental health and health disparities, all underpinned by a commitment to continual learning and professional development.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Public Health at the University of Louisville, USA. Alongside my doctoral studies, I work as a graduate Research Assistant in Biomedical Health Sciences at the same institution. My current research focuses on infectious diseases and behavioral sciences among Native American populations, reflecting my dedication to addressing complex health challenges and advancing public health through rigorous research and scholarship.
