About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Dhaka University Journal of Earth and Environmental Sciences (JEES) is a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed journal that is published by the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences. The JEES is dedicated to enhancing the depth of the subject across disciplines with ultimate aim of expanding knowledge related to earth and environmental sciences.
Peer Review Process
- Manuscripts submitted to the Dhaka University Journal of Earth and Environmental sciences have to go through a peer review process.
- Manuscripts submitted to the Dhaka University Journal of Earth and Environmental sciences first go through an initial screening by the editorial team.
- Paper that passes through the preliminary screening process will be sent to at least two reviewer for peer review (double blind peer review).
- After reviewing the manuscript, peer reviewers will independently send a recommendation to the journal editor as to whether the manuscript should be rejected or accepted (with or without revisions).
- Based on reviewers’ suggestions/choice, after revisions are incorporated by author(s), papers will be resent to the respective reviewers for further revision.
- The journal editor considers all the feedback from peer reviewers and makes the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript.
Publication Frequency
The Dhaka University Journal of Earth and Environmental Sciences (DUJEES) is published twice in a year (June and December)
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Article Processing Fees
Our journal is free to everyone. Full text of all the contents is always available. There is no article processing charges (APCs) or submission charges. Our readers can copy, distribute, and use their attributed research for non-commercial purpose free of charge. Our journal retains copyright of the articles through a Creative Commons attribution license (CC-BY-NC 4.0).
