About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Stamford Journal of Microbiology (S. J. Microbiol. ISSN 2074-5346) published its first issue in July 2011. It is an annual journal covering all fields of microbiological science including molecular biology. The journal invites original articles, review articles, editorials, short communications from the diversified fields of microbiology with novel findings and logical scientific writings. The journal will accept scientific papers ranging from molecular biological aspects to those covering medical, clinical, biochemical, food, environmental, agricultural, or biotechnological aspects, provided that in each case the content is directly relevant to microbiological systems. All articles are subject to rigorous peer review by the experts in relevant fields.

Papers may be accepted without any change upon scientific coherence, with minor corrections, may be subject to major revisions, or may be rejected if scientifically unsound. The journal bears no responsibility for any kind of information supplied by the authors.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
