Abstract

Before starting alpha-blockade, a 28-year-old male Bangladeshi patient with a 4–5-year history of palpitations, diaphoresis, and episodic headaches was first prescribed beta-blockade. Adrenal protocol CT revealed left adrenal Phaeochromocytoma despite normal urinary tests and negative ultrasonography, underscoring the limits of standard biochemistry and ultrasonography in diagnosis.
