Author Guidelines
Manuscript of basic applied branches of Biological Sciences, not have been published or accepted or submitted for publication elsewhere, is generally accepted.
Title Page: The title page should contain: Title of the article (should be kept brief), all authors’ full names and addresses, and affiliations. Indicate separately the name, mailing address, telephone, Tele fax numbers, and E-mail address of the corresponding author (s).
Manuscript must be typed with double-space. On one side of A4 paper, with wide margins. A full paper should not exceed more than ten printed pages (including figures, tables and references). A short communication should be limited to four printed pages. After acceptance and revision the manuscript must be submitted on a CD in Microsoft Word format, together with a paper copy along with annotated manuscript.
Manuscript should generally be organized in the following style and format: Title, Running Title (should be concise), Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgements, References. In case of Short communication separate subtitle like Introduction, Materials and Methods etc; are not required but references should be listed as usual. Abstract should not exceed 150 words. Graphs, drawings, photographs and figures should be numbered consecutively. Drawings and graphs must be in black waterproof ink on drawing or tracing paper of sufficient size and quality to allow reduction to half or more.
Tables, photographs, figures of more than one half of A4 page are not acceptable. Position of figures, tables and photographs should be indicated in the manuscript. Photographic plates should be numbered separately from text figure. Only black and white glossy prints are acceptable. Figure legends should be listed on a separate page.
In the references: Author name(s) should be arranged in alphabetical order. Titles of journal should be abbreviated in accordance with the World list of Scientific Periodicals (4th ed.).

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- When available, the URLs to access references online are provided, including those for open access versions of the reference. The URLs are ready to click (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca).
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review) have been followed.
